Who makes the handicrafts and what are these made out of?
Most of the crafts that are available with the tree hugger have been made by ethnic minorities from Vietnam; a small part may also be made by ethnic minorities that come from other parts of South-East Asia. Items from our eco-corner and our pottery are largely made by Kinh. If you like to know more about the craftmakers and the materials used/techniques employed, please, take a look here.
How to care for the products?
Handmade and naturally-dyed crafts are often sensitive and care must be taken when cleaning/washing them. We generally recommend hand-washing with cold water and a mild detergent. For colors not to fade and because of natural color potentially leaking out, hang items into the shadow and in a way that the naturally-colored side points downwards. Please, also take a look at the product descriptions in our online store.
Where do you ship and what are the costs?
Currently, we only ship within Vietnam, free of charge.
For international shipping, please, contact us directly. We ship with Vietnam Post, but unfortunately, rates are not consistent and difficult to calculate in advance. Please, not that we cannot take responsibility for any additional costs that may occur due to import duties or customs.
How long does the shipping take?
After we received your order, shipping preparation will ~1-2 working days, while the sending will usually take between 2-7 days within Vietnam. International orders may take between ~10-30 days. Please, note that we cannot take any responsibility for possible delays due to customs or other events that may delay delivery (e.g. holidays).
Do you offer wholesale?
Yes, we do. Note that most wholesale items refer to products from our ´eco-corner´. If you like to see an item customized, just ask us for possibilities.
What payments do you accept?
In our online store, you may pay with credit card, via paypal or pay upon delivery. You may also just write us an e-mail and pick up your item in one of our stores in Dong Hoi or Qui Nhon.
